in Edinburgh. Established in 2006,
Zen Consultants (Scot) Ltd takes the stress out

Our founder Saj Sharif is an advocate of creating

MEET THE TEAM
Ms Saj Sharif Dip. BA.
FOUNDER & CEO
Saj established Zen Consultants in 2006, she graduated from Heriot-Watt University
with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and Finance. Along with a background in stockbroking, and previous experience as a co-director of a construction firm, she has an excellent working knowledge of the Financial & Construction Industry and specialises in tailoring a bespoke service for each client.
A highly driven and motivated mum of three, Saj is also a fully qualified life coach, hypnotherapist and meditation teacher. Saj is also the founder of Zen Community, a hub for spiritual healing, mindfulness and well-being.
Cammy Sharif
CO-DIRECTOR
Approached by Saj in early 2017, Cammy joined the fast-growing Zen team to help out
with increased business pressures and hasn’t looked back since. With a Bachelor’s degree
in Engineering from The University of Edinburgh, he also runs a successful delivery driver agency, Dream Drivers Ltd, in his own time.
For fun, Cammy loves working out at the gym, eating out and socialising with friends.
Hans Jensen, MAAT
PAYROLL, VAT RETURNS AND CIS RETURNS
Hans graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with Corporate Finance
from Edinburgh Napier University. After graduating and gaining financial experience
within a large national charity and English language school, began working with Zen
in April of 2020 taking over responsibility for payroll, VAT returns and company CIS returns.
Hans has completed his AAT qualification and is currently working towards his ultimate goal of becoming a chartered accountant.
Chris Ramos
SOLE TRADER AND DIRECTOR SELF ASSESSMENTS
Chris left school back in 2019 and straight away began working in the accountancy industry. He found his passion for numbers when studying accountancy and business management at Craigmount High School, and after leaving was lucky enough to land himself a modern apprenticeship with Zen Consultants. 3 years on and Chris is working his way through the AAT qualification, currently studying and sitting exams for his final AAT level, level 4. At the young age of 20, his main role within Zen is being responsible for sole trader and director self-assessments, as well as onboarding new clients onto their Freeagent software.
When Chris is not working, he is relaxing with his friends and family, or he is in the gym.
Gizmo
ZEN MASCOT
Gizmo was born into the lineage of longstanding Kennel Club winners. As a pedigree he decided that he didn't want to follow in his parents' paw steps as his character was more Zen like. So instead he applied and got accepted as a valued member of the Zen Dream Team in March 2014.
Gizmo's speciality is the meet and greet of our clients that come into the office, he instantly puts them at ease with his charm and constant need for petting. Don't worry if you forget to pet him, he will remind you with a gentle nudge!
